Since the beginning of the new academic year, started on the 20 April 2009, the IT Helpdesk subsidy was revised to allow fairer use of IT resources. With the change, students are required to co-fund $5 for each visit, from the 3rd visit and beyond.

To assist you in getting your laptop ready for the new academic year, Office of Information Services (OIS) has decided to fully subsidize your visits to the helpdesk on the first week (20th to 24th April 2009), and will only reduce the subsidy on the visits from Week 2 (27th April 2009) onwards.
